Varnish in Web Hosting
Varnish is available as an optional upgrade with all our web hosting plans. You can add it to your website hosting account through the Hepsia Control Panel, which is available with all shared plans and you’ll get a rather easy-to-work-with GUI, which will grant you full control over the caching system. Using one-click fast-access buttons, you can reboot or discontinue any of the instances, in other words – Varnish will no longer be activated for a given Internet site. You can also check a detailed log or erase the cache associated with any of the Internet sites. When you add Varnish to your hosting plan, you’ll be able to choose the total amount of memory that will be at your disposal for data caching purposes and how many sites will use Varnish. You can always order more memory in increments of 32 MB and, for optimum performance, you can assign a dedicated IP to the sites that will use Varnish. This will permit you to take full advantage of your websites and to have many pleased users.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish is a feature, which is offered as standard with all semi-dedicated plans offered by us and you can use it for workload distribution purposes. It’s available in your Hepsia Control Panel. The Varnish caching platform comes with 64 MB of system memory for cached data storing purposes and you can use it with any website that you host in the account. If you’re in need of more, you can increase the memory allocation. The memory itself is available in increments of 32 megabytes through the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. The very same Upgrades section will enable you to enable more instances too, in case you wish to use the Varnish platform with multiple websites. The two upgrades can be ordered independently – you can cache the content of a single resource-hungry site or run a number of Internet sites with the default memory quota. You can get the most out of Varnish in case you have a dedicated IP address and you can order one with your semi-dedicated server plan as well. Hepsia will grant you complete control over the platform and, with no more than one single click, you’ll be able to clear the cached content, to view a log file or to restart an instance.
Varnish in VPS Servers
Varnish is included by default with each of the VPS servers offered by us given that the virtual server is ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, so you can optimize the performance of your websites with just a couple of mouse clicks. The more powerful the package, the more memory will be available to Varnish, but even with a less powerful plan, the platform will be able to utilize several hundred MB, so even if you have several different sites, you will notice an enormous reduction in the overall server load and a tremendously better page load speed. The platform will need to work for a while as the users navigate the website and once the website content has been cached, you’ll observe the effect. One of the pluses of employing Varnish is that a lower-end and less high-priced Virtual Private Server plan will do the same job as a more costly one without the caching platform, so not only will your websites work significantly better, but you will also spare a certain amount of money.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
In case you order a dedicated server with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you’ll get the Varnish platform at no extra cost and you will exert full control over it through an incredibly easy-to-navigate graphical interface – you will be able to start, to discontinue or to reboot an instance, to check a comprehensive system log, to delete the cached files associated with any Internet site and much, much more. The Varnish platform will have several GB of virtual memory at its disposal, so even if you run popular websites with plenty of visitors, you’ll notice the significantly better web page loading times and the less load. This will become a fact shortly after you start using Varnish, since it will require a certain amount of time to cache the site content that people browse. You can take full advantage of the platform’s capacity in case the Internet sites that are using it also use a dedicated IP, but due to the fact that your server includes a few IPs by default, you won’t have to pay anything on top of the monthly fee for the machine itself.
